Physical Fitness requirements: The nature of this itinerary will make for long days with much exploration, mostly on foot. Some sites include flights of stairs without elevators and stairs without bannisters.  Participants should be able to: • Walk at a moderate pace for extended periods of time  without needing to sit • Climb several flights of stairs or walk up an incline   without difficulty • Get in and out of transportation unassisted (bus, train,   plane, etc.) If you have mobility issues (regularly use walking aids – cane, crutches, scooter, etc.)  or fitness questions, please contact 202-244-3975 to confirm that  this trip is right for you.
